WELCOME TO MY JOURNEY TO BRING MY DAUGHTER, MAYA GRACE HOME FROM GUATEMALA. DURING THIS JOURNEY I HAVE STUMBLED OVER MANY MOUNTAINS ONLY TO BUILD MY FAITH. THIS HAS BEEN ONE OF THE HARDEST JOURNEY'S OF MY LIFE AND IT HAS THE GREATEST PRIZE AT THE END. I CAN'T WAIT FOR THEM TO PLACE MY DAUGHTER IN MY ARMS FOREVER. MY DREAMS WILL THEN BE REALITY!!!

36 hours of emotions
THE PAST 36 HOURS HAVE BEEN SO EMOTIONAL. I CAN'T REMEMBER YESTERDAY AT ALL. IT IS JUST LIKE A BLUR. I THINK I HAVE BEEN IN SHOCK AND NOW REALITY HAS HIT. MANY TEARS HAVE FALLEN. I AM SURE MANY MORE WILL FALL. I WILL BE OKAY FOR AWHILE THEN ALL OF A SUDDEN I LOSE IT. IT DOESN'T MATTER WHERE I AM. I KNOW ALL OF THIS HAPPENED FOR A REASON BUT I CAN'T FIGURE OUT THE REASON. I AM TRYING TO ACCEPT IT WITHOUT GETTING SO DEPRESSED. I AM REALLY HAVING TO FIGHT THE DEPRESSION. THANKS FOR ALL OF YOU PRAYERS AND KIND WORDS OF ENCOURAGEMENT.
Just remember, there are reasons for everything... We may never know it, but things happen for a reason. Just hang in there, and NEVER give up on your dreams. Because dreams WILL COME TRUE....
I am a single mother with a daughter from Guatemala. I brought her home on August 21st, 2007. I am loving every second of motherhood. Maya is the love of my life. I can't imagine life without her. I thank God everyday that she is home in my arms.
