WELCOME TO MY JOURNEY TO BRING MY DAUGHTER, MAYA GRACE HOME FROM GUATEMALA. DURING THIS JOURNEY I HAVE STUMBLED OVER MANY MOUNTAINS ONLY TO BUILD MY FAITH. THIS HAS BEEN ONE OF THE HARDEST JOURNEY'S OF MY LIFE AND IT HAS THE GREATEST PRIZE AT THE END. I CAN'T WAIT FOR THEM TO PLACE MY DAUGHTER IN MY ARMS FOREVER. MY DREAMS WILL THEN BE REALITY!!!

MY SLEEPING BEAUTY!!!!
WHAT MORE CAN I SAY?? MAYA WAS SO PEACEFUL AND CUTE WHEN SHE WAS SLEEPING. (SHE WAS CUTE ALL THE TIME) I WOULD JUST SIT AND WATCH HER. SHE WOULD MAKE ALL KINDS OF CUTE LITTLE FACES. SHE LOVED TO SLEEP ON HER STOMACH. SHE WOULD GET IN A LITTLE BALL WITH HER KNEES TUCKED UNDER HER. I THOUGHT IT WAS SO CUTE. SHE ONLY GOT TO SLEEP LIKE THIS FOR NAPS. I THINK HER FOSTER FAMILY LETS HER SLEEP ON HER STOMACH AT TIMES. GUESS WHAT?? I WILL BE HOLDING HER IN 55 DAYS, BUT WHO IS COUNTING?
I just got done reading your blog. I can't believe all that you've had to go through so far in your journey to adopt. Oh, but seeing the pics of your beautiful, precious, perfect daughter, I know that's it's all worth it for the end result.
I am a single mother with a daughter from Guatemala. I brought her home on August 21st, 2007. I am loving every second of motherhood. Maya is the love of my life. I can't imagine life without her. I thank God everyday that she is home in my arms.
