MAYA IS ALL PACKED!!!!


TONIGHT WAS A VERY FUN AND EMOTIONAL NIGHT. I PACKED MAYA'S SUITCASE. IT WAS SO MUCH FUN PACKING ALL 50 OUTFITS. I KNOW, I AM ONLY STAYING A WEEK BUT WE MUST HAVE SEVERAL FASHION SHOWS. HER SUITCASE IS PACKED WITH CLOTHES, OF COURSE, ALL HER BATH AND FEEDING THINGS, AND TOYS. OH, I DO HAVE A SMALL BAGGY OF HAIR BOWS. GOTTA HAVE THOSE BOWS. I AM ALSO TAKING HER CHRISTMAS DRESS AGAIN. I HOPE THAT I CAN GET A PICTURE OF HER NOT CRYING WHILE WEARING THE DRESS. I WAS SO EMOTIONAL WHILE PACKING. I GUESS I REALIZED HOW MUCH I MISS MY LITTLE ANGEL. I AM TRYING SO HARD TO PREPARE MYSELF FOR GIVING HER BACK. HOWEVER, I DON'T THINK GIVING YOUR DAUGHTER BACK IS SOMETHING THAT YOU CAN PREPARE FOR. I AM JUST SO THANKFUL THAT SHE HAS A WONDERFUL FOSTER FAMILY. I HOPE THAT SHE CAN FEEL HOW MUCH I LOVE HER. I JUST KEEP HANGING ONTO THE HOPE THAT SHE WILL BE HOME WITH ME FOREVER REAL SOON. MAYA, MOMMY WILL BE THERE IN 14 DAYS. ALWAYS KNOW THAT I LOVE YOU SO MUCH BABY.

    You are right, nothing prepares you for giving them back. But, as you said, she is well-loved and cared for and you just have to take solace in that. She will be home soon and the pain and waiting will be a distant memory.

    50 outfits??????????? You and Seegal need to get together. I will point DH to your blog if he dares tell me I buy too much stuff! LOL.

    I totally understand the 50 outfits. You just never know what you might feel like wearing on any particular day. You need lots of things to choose from!

    Try not to think about giving her back - just try to focus on the wonderful time you will have with Maya.

    OK... ONLY 50 Outfits... I am sure you can squeeze a few more in! Turst me, you will need more.. I was with you the last time you visited... Didn't you run out of clothes for her... I know she wore EVERYTHING at least once!!! Last time you had 40 something outfits, and we were only there 4 days... You have to average at least 10 outfits a day! HAHAHA...

    As for leaving her... Just remember, you are not leaving her, you are letting her VISIT the family she will be leaving very soon. And we both know how big that family is, so they need a little more time to say their good-byes... Yes you are right it will be hard... We both know that, but, it will be VERY soon that she will being saying Hello to Mommy every morning, FOREVER!!!

    Giving them back is definitely the hardest part of the trip. Try not to think about it until it is time to give her back so that you can fully enjoy her.

    And 50 OUTFITS????? Your going to have to change her ALOT!!!!
