THE 10 PRINCIPLES OF SELF ESTEEM -
BASED ON GOD'S WORD.
VERSE
Genesis 1 : 31
Then God looked over all He made, and He saw
that it was excellent in every way.
Commentary:
Just stop and ask yourself - "How do I really feel
about myself ?"
1.Never think or speak negatively about yourself.
To do that, puts you in disagreement with God who
thinks you are truly something worthwhile.
2. Meditate on your God-given strengths and learn
to encourage yourself.
You know, much of the time nobody else will!
3. Don't compare yourself to anybody else
You're unique mate ! One of a kind! and original !
So don't settle for being a copy 'cos you're not!
4. Focus on your potential, not your limitations.
Remember, God actually lives in you, if you have
surrendered your life to Him.
5. Find out what you like to do, and do it well, and
strive to do it in excellence.
Then just watch the positive reactions of others!
6. Have the courage to be different.
Be a God pleaser, not a people pleaser.
7. Learn to handle criticism.
Let it develop you and mature you, instead of .....
discouraging you.
8.Determine your own worth instead of letting others
do it for you.
No one knows you better than you yourself! Anyway,
others will short change you.
9. Keep your shortcomings in perspective.
Listen mate, you're still a work in progress.
10. Focus daily on your greatest source of confidence.
The greatest supplier of confidence and reassurance is
the very God who lives within you. !
