STILL FLOATING!!!

YES, I AM STILL FLOATING ON CLOUD NINE. I WOKE AT 2 AM AND THOUGHT I HAD BEEN DREAMING THAT I GOT PINK. WELL, MY DREAM HAS FINALLY COME TRUE. I CAN'T START TO EXPRESS THE FEELINGS THAT I HAD WHEN I GOT THAT CALL. IT WAS SO AMAZING. I CRY EVERYTIME I THINK ABOUT NOT HAVING TO GIVE HER BACK. IT IS A GREAT FEELING!!!! I GOT A VERY BITTERSWEET E-MAIL FROM MAYA'S FOSTER MOM LAST NIGHT. SHE WAS TELLING ME HOW HAPPY THEY ARE THAT I WILL BE BRINGING MAYA HOME. HOWEVER, SHE WAS ALSO TELLING ME HOW MUCH THEY LOVED HER AND HOW MUCH THEY WERE GOING TO MISS HER. I FEEL SO BAD FOR THEM. I WILL ALWAYS BE THANKFUL THAT MAYA HAD SUCH A LOVING FOSTER FAMILY. I ASSURED HER THAT I WOULD TELL MAYA ALL ABOUT THEM. SO, IN 3 MORE DAYS, MAYA WILL IN MY ARMS FOREVER.

    I know the feeling... It seems so unreal...One day its just you and now and forever you have your little girl... You have been her mother for a long time, but now she is going to be with you so you can experience the joys of motherhood. I am so glad that through all your trials you have perservered!

    Wow.. truly three more days!! I can't wait.. BUT yes, taking baby from FM is so very hard.. So thankful Maya knows you. So much about adoption is bittersweet, but in knowing and recognizing that, you can open up all the right channels of communication for Maya... and that's what our little ones often need the most....Take good care Ginger! KNOW I think of you often... we're in the midst of tearing our place apart so if I dont blog/respond on yours, please know I'm just soooo dang happy your family is now together - YAHOO!! :) Take good care and big ((HUGS))!!
