WELCOME TO MY JOURNEY TO BRING MY DAUGHTER, MAYA GRACE HOME FROM GUATEMALA. DURING THIS JOURNEY I HAVE STUMBLED OVER MANY MOUNTAINS ONLY TO BUILD MY FAITH. THIS HAS BEEN ONE OF THE HARDEST JOURNEY'S OF MY LIFE AND IT HAS THE GREATEST PRIZE AT THE END. I CAN'T WAIT FOR THEM TO PLACE MY DAUGHTER IN MY ARMS FOREVER. MY DREAMS WILL THEN BE REALITY!!!

I HAVE HAD IT!!!


I HAVE HAD IT!!! I CANNOT TAKE THIS ANYMORE. THIS IS SO CRAZY!! NOTHING WILL GO RIGHT FOR ME IN THIS ADOPTION. I KNOW IN MY HEART THAT MAYA IS MY DAUGHTER BUT THAT MAY NOT BE ENOUGH. MY GUATEMALAN LAWYER IS STILL MISSING. I FOUND OUT TODAY THAT HE WORKS WITH MARY BONN (THE ONE THAT JUST GOT ARRESTED). SO, I AM THINKING THAT HE HAS SKIPPED THE COUNTRY BECAUSE HE WAS NEXT TO BE CAUGHT. MY AGENCY DIRECTOR IS CHECKING ON GETTING ANOTHER LAWYER TO TAKE OVER MY CASE. HOWEVER, I CAN'T AND WILL NOT GIVE THAT COUNTRY ANOTHER PENNY UNTIL MAYA IS COMING HOME. SO, I PROBABLY WON'T BE ABLE TO CHANGE LAWYERS. I WAS NOT SUBMITTED TO PGN TODAY. I DON'T KNOW WHEN OR IF I WILL EVER BE SUBMITTED. MY FACILITATORS ARE TELLING ME THAT WE JUST HAVE TO WAIT ON MY LAWYER TO SHOW UP. I AM SO SICK OF WAITING. IF I WAS IN PGN WAITING TO GET OUT THAT WOULD BE DIFFERENT. HECK, I CAN'T EVEN GET IN PGN. MY DREAM OF BECOMING A MOTHER IS SLOWLY TURNING INTO MY BIGGEST NIGHTMARE.
UPDATE: I JUST GOT AN E-MAIL FROM MY GUATEMALAN LAWYER. HE WAS ACCUSING ME OF BEING RUDE. IMAGINE THAT!!! YES, I DID SEND HIM A VERY RUDE E-MAIL. HEY, IT GOT ME SOME ANSWERS. A GIRLS GOTTA DO WHAT A GIRLS GOTTA DO. HE SAYS THAT HE SUBMITTED ME TO PGN IN TODAY HOWEVER, I HAVE OTHER PEOPLE THAT DISAGREE. SO, I HAVE ASKED FOR THE PGN RECEIPTS. SO FAR, NOTHING. I WILL KEEP YOU POSTED.

    Oh Ginger, this sooooo sucks big-time (I apologize as my language seems to gradually be going down the drain).... your attorney and his antics make me want to vomit. Keep that email address for when Maya is home so we can educate him with Emily Posts' great manners book: "what constitutes rudeness and what constitutes a royal seat cushion... Ginger I know you feel at the end of your rope but DONT give up (again refer to your previously wonderful entry on same).. Use this energy to get pissed.. Not trying to raise your blood pressure but noone is gonna take advantage of you , your dd or your family.... NO way, no how......Praying you truly got in today.. I know the recent events do nothing to ease your mind, BUT your dd needs you and she needs you to fight!! Take good care... Like I've said. if there'anything we can do... would be happy to do so :) Thinking of you!

    I'm proud of you for sending the email to your lawyer! He needs to realize you are paying for his paycheck and that you deserve to see some action in your case and not have his lazy, you know what, sitting on it! That's not what you agreed to pay for! I know that we can't be pushy Americans in Guat. but there are times that you need to stand up for yourself and not allow them to push you around! It goes both ways! They have no right to push you! Stick to your guns girl - you are doing great! I wish I had the perfect words to take away the pain, but I don't! I'm rooting for you and praying that God has EVERTHING in control!

    I think it is a good thing you hired AS when you did. They will be able to verify you are in PGN in a couple of days as the PGN roster gets updated. I have learned never to believe anything until I get verification of it. If they assign a new lawyer you should not have to pay a dime. You pay the facilitator and they hire the attorney. If they have to get a new one then they are responsible for it. The good news is PGN is moving more quickly than it has in many months. Maybe this is a blessing in disguise and you will be in and out in record time.

    Ginger..We are so similar... My facilitator is Teo, yes the banned baby broker as I refer to him!
    Its so hard to actualy have faith in these people, but when Teo said he submitted Luke to PGN, he actually did... We requested PGN receipts (didnt get them, they say there is no such thing,....HA)
    Its so sad that there are good people trying to help children, and all we do is get shot down!

    Unbelievable! Hmmm. I know you don't want to do this, but it might speed things up for you and give you piece of mind to hire an Adoption Supervisor (wouldn't cost too much, I don't think, because you are so close to the end of the process). And, I've heard really good things about them. They will tell you the truth and get things moving...

    I am so SORRY this is happening. With all the complaining I did with my process is was very smooth compared to this process (didn't really have a glitch, no KO's, just too damn long in PGN- really only 48 days).
