MAYA AND HER FOSTER FAMILY!!!
THIS IS MAYA AND HER VERY SWEET FOSTER MOM!! MAYA LYING IN ALLISON'S BED AT HER FOSTER HOME. MAYA WITH HER FOSTER "PAPA"!!! MAYA WITH THE FOSTER MOM'S GRANDCHILDREN. IS THIS KID LOVED OR WHAT?? MAYA WITH MAGDA!! SHE DOES MOST OF THE CARE FOR MAYA. SHE LIVES IN THE HOME WITH HER. SHE IS SUCH A SWEETHEART.
THESE ARE SOME PICTURES THAT THE FOSTER FAMILY TOOK WITH THE CAMERAS THAT I LEFT AT CHRISTMAS. IT IS SO AMAZING TO SEE HOW MUCH THEY LOVE HER. ONE DAY MAYA WILL REALLY ENJOY THESE PHOTOS. I AM SO THANKFUL THAT MAYA IS IN A WONDERFUL FOSTER HOME. SHE IS SO BLESSED TO BE CARED FOR BY THESE PEOPLE.
Ginger - those pictures are priceless! We have so many pictures that our foster family took of Libby and they're such an amazing connection to her heritage and her life in Guatemala. The Guatemalan people are so beautiful and loving!
Ginger, wonderful pics of a wonderful Foster family. These truly are priceless as Julie has said.. I sent a camera to both my kids' foster parents and with Alex got hundreds (mine and theirs.. and given his temperment, I'm soooo very glad we did).. With Ellie I got two pics the foster family took and one camera of pics that were obviously taken all in one photo shoot - NO info on her life there... I sooo wish we have more for her but it's ok.. I think in the long run she'll be ok with what's there. BUT anytime you can get pics of your child's history before you (i.e. for a lifebook).. soooooo precious. I'm thrilled for you!
Those are great! We didn't get that many back that had the foster family in it. Most were just of Gabriella. I know they took great care of her and loved her, just wish they had taken more of them with her.
Wow! She has a very loving family down in Guat! Not only is she blessed, but you are also blessed by their generosity. Those pics are just priceless....
Those pictures are such an important part of her life. Wow.
What shows is such love, both in how happy Maya is, and the pictures. It is amazing to think of her spending those months there, and now, she is on her way to her new home and her forever mommy!
Those are truely great! I KNOW that the Foster family loves her very much... Even the little girl.. I don't remember her name... I remember the first time, how she was kissy kissy to Maya when then picked her up...
I am a single mother with a daughter from Guatemala. I brought her home on August 21st, 2007. I am loving every second of motherhood. Maya is the love of my life. I can't imagine life without her. I thank God everyday that she is home in my arms.
