WELCOME TO MY JOURNEY TO BRING MY DAUGHTER, MAYA GRACE HOME FROM GUATEMALA. DURING THIS JOURNEY I HAVE STUMBLED OVER MANY MOUNTAINS ONLY TO BUILD MY FAITH. THIS HAS BEEN ONE OF THE HARDEST JOURNEY'S OF MY LIFE AND IT HAS THE GREATEST PRIZE AT THE END. I CAN'T WAIT FOR THEM TO PLACE MY DAUGHTER IN MY ARMS FOREVER. MY DREAMS WILL THEN BE REALITY!!!

NOT SO HAPPY BABY (PART 2)!!
COULD YOU PLEASE TAKE SOME THE THESE CLOTHES OFF OF ME?? ARE YOU TALKING TO ME??? I'M NOT LISTENING!! UMMMMMM!!! THAT LOOKS GOOD!!! IF YOU CAN'T GIVE ME MY MOMMY, THEN THIS WILL HAVE TO WORK.
THESE ARE THE LAST 5 PICS THAT I GOT OF MAYA. STILL NO SMILE. SHE LOOKS SOOOO HOT. WHY DO THEY DRESS THESE KIDS LIKE IT IS 20 BELOW WHEN IT IS REALLY 90 DEGREES? WELL AT LEAST I KNOW THAT SHE IS HAPPY IN THE LAST PIC, SHE IS EATING. STILL NO NEWS!! HOWEVER, LAST THURSDAY WAS "PGN DAY". WHATEVER THAT MEANS. I RESPONDED BACK TO ADOPTION SUPERVISORS ASKING WHAT THEY CELEBRATED. NO RESPONSE. MAYBE NEXT WEEK.
Happy PGN day!! How stupid is that? Let's take the day off and celebrate the fact that we deliberatly keep babies from their forever homes. Who's buying the first round?? HAHAHA! While we are off work we have wasted 2 more days for all these babies! Whoo Hoo! It just kills me how they take off FOR everything, and leave our babies hanging! UGH....sorry to be so negative on your blog, but these people need to get their acts together and let our girls go!!!
Your right - they do dress them too warmly! She probably has on three layers under what you see!! That's how they dressed Sonja too! As soon as I got her, I took her to the room and took the layers off!! I'm still praying for you and Maya - I was thinking of you today! I hope you are doing ok?!
Oh Ginger, keep hoping to pop in here and find great news. Praying AS has something/ANYTHING to tell you... Know I"m thinking about you all the time. Re: the multi-layering.... not sure what it is, but they do it in Korea too. I was re-watching my "meeting Ellie" video from many years back and her FM literally put 3 layers of clothing on and it was 80 degrees! UGH.. she was soooo dang hot!
PGN Day? I read on someone else's blog that it was a holiday for 2 days! But I know of another family that had their Embassy appt. on Friday! I don't understand! I also don't understand why they bundle the babies so much! I thought that I had bundled Abbie before her SW interview, (it was during my visit trip in January.), you should have seen her when her FM brought her back to me! My Brown Eyed Girl was pure sweaty! I am praying for ya! Love Karen
Hey just thought I would tell you I am thinking of you--tommorrow is a brand new week hopefully filled with lots of good news!!!! hang in there kiddo!!! :O)
I am a single mother with a daughter from Guatemala. I brought her home on August 21st, 2007. I am loving every second of motherhood. Maya is the love of my life. I can't imagine life without her. I thank God everyday that she is home in my arms.
