MAYA'S ADOPTION JOURNEY

WELCOME TO MY JOURNEY TO BRING MY DAUGHTER, MAYA GRACE HOME FROM GUATEMALA. DURING THIS JOURNEY I HAVE STUMBLED OVER MANY MOUNTAINS ONLY TO BUILD MY FAITH. THIS HAS BEEN ONE OF THE HARDEST JOURNEY'S OF MY LIFE AND IT HAS THE GREATEST PRIZE AT THE END. I CAN'T WAIT FOR THEM TO PLACE MY DAUGHTER IN MY ARMS FOREVER. MY DREAMS WILL THEN BE REALITY!!!

GOD IS SO GOOD!!!

PURE JOY!!!!
SLEEPING BEAUTY!!
LET ME OUT OF HERE. I WANT TO GO HOME!!!
SPLASHING IN THE POOL.
MORE SPLASHING!! SHE LOVES THE POOLS.

TODAY HAS BEEN A VERY STRESSFUL DAY. WE FOUND OUT THAT WE HAVE TO LEAVE THE MARRIOTT TOMORROW. NO ROOMS AVAILABLE ANY WHERE IN GUATEMALA CITY. SO SOME OF MY DAY HAS BEEN CHANGING FLIGHTS, AND SEARCHING FOR HOTELS. WE HAD BEEN OFFERED A BED AT AN ORPHANGE. WE JUST HAD TO WORK FOR ROOM AND BOARD. WE WERE A BIT NERVOUS AOBUT THAT. THIS PAST FRIDAY NIGHT I HAD MET A MISSIONARY FROM UTAH. WELL, WE SAW HIM AGAIN TONIGHT AND EXPLAINED WHAT WAS GOING ON. HE AND HIS WIFE OFFERED US THEIR EXTRA ROOM. JUST WHEN I WAS AT THE END OF MY ROPE AND DIDN'T KNOW WHERE WE WOULD BE SLEEPING FOR THE NEXT 3 NIGHTS THIS MAN JUST SHOWS UP. GOD'S PERFECT TIMING.

MAYA HAS BEEN A HAM TODAY. SHE IS SO LOUD AND SHE WANTS EVERYONE TO NOTICE HER. SHE IS JUST SO FUNNY. I CAN'T EVEN START TO TELL YOU HOW MUCH I LOVE THIS KID. I AM SO READY TO GO HOME WITH HER.

I HOPE TO HAVE GOOD NEWS FROM MY LAWYER TOMORROW. NOT SURE IF I WILL BE ABLE TO POST FROM THE APARTMENT. HOWEVER, I WILL TRY!!!

    Ginger,

Maya is soooo cute. Enjoy. I'm sorry to hear about the hotel problem but it looks like God had different plans. There's a reason you're spending the next three days with them.

Wow, what happened with the hotel? Amazing how thing seem to work out though.

Is it just me, or is Maya looking very tall? She looks longer than Grace does I think.

Congrats, have fun...can't wait to see the at home pics! Say hi to Ellie for me :-)
