WELCOME TO MY JOURNEY TO BRING MY DAUGHTER, MAYA GRACE HOME FROM GUATEMALA. DURING THIS JOURNEY I HAVE STUMBLED OVER MANY MOUNTAINS ONLY TO BUILD MY FAITH. THIS HAS BEEN ONE OF THE HARDEST JOURNEY'S OF MY LIFE AND IT HAS THE GREATEST PRIZE AT THE END. I CAN'T WAIT FOR THEM TO PLACE MY DAUGHTER IN MY ARMS FOREVER. MY DREAMS WILL THEN BE REALITY!!!

MY MOMMY IS A LITTLE HAPPY TODAY!!

CHECK OUT THAT GRIN!!!

I GOT AN E-MAIL FROM GUATEMALA TODAY. EVERYTHING IS DONE FOR DNA AUTHORIZATION. THE LAWYER TOOK ANOTHER PICTURE OF MAYA TODAY, JUST AS THE EMBASSY REQUESTED. SO, HE SAID THAT HE WILL BE AT THE EMBASSY FIRST THING MONDAY MORNING TO RESUBMIT THE REQUEST FOR DNA. IF WE GET THE AUTHORIZATION THEN THE DNA WILL BE DONE ON TUESDAY. I AM JUST PRAYING THAT EVERYTHING WORKS THIS TIME. I HOPE THE EMBASSY PEOPLE DON'T THINK OF ANYTHING ELSE TO CHANGE OVER THE WEEKEND.

I FINALIZED ALL OF MY CHRISTMAS TRAVEL PLANS THIS WEEK. I WILL BE LEAVING ON DECEMBER THE 20TH, STAYING AT THE CROWNE PLAZA AND RETURNING HOME ON DECEMBER THE 27TH. I AM GETTING SO EXCITED. I FEEL LIKE A KID WAITING FOR CHRISTMAS MORNING!!

    What a great smile!
    Ginger - we recently had trouble getting our DNA auth, too. Same things - the embassy seemed to be very picky about a lot of little things that weren't expected by our attorney. Once we got it we've been cruising along, making good progress!
