NEW YEAR'S REFLECTIONS

LOOKING BACK ON THE MONTHS GONE BY,
AS A NEW YEAR STARTS AND ON OLD ONE ENDS,
WE CONTEMPLATE WHAT BROUGHT US JOY,
AND WE THINK OF OUR LOVED ONES AND OUR FRIENDS.
RECALLING ALL THE HAPPY TIMES,
REMEMBERING HOW THEY ENRICHED OUR LIVES
WE REFLECT UPON WHO REALLY COUNTS,
AS THE FRESH AND BRIGHT NEW YEAR ARRIVES.
AND WHEN I PONDER THOSE WHO DO,
I IMMEDIATELY THINK OF YOU.
THANKS FOR BEING ONE OF THE REASONS I'LL HAVE A HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
THIS YEAR HAS BEEN A REAL ROLLER COASTER RIDE FOR ME WITH MY ADOPTION PROCESS. I HAVE LOVED AND LOST ONE BABY GIRL. FOUND IT IN MY HEART TO LOVE ANOTHER. NOW JUST WAITING TO BRING HER HOME. I KNOW IN MY LITTLE HEART THAT I WILL BRING MAYA HOME THIS YEAR. I WILL HAVE SOMEONE CALLING ME MOMMY THIS YEAR. NEXT YEAR THIS TIME, I WILL HAVE HAD SO MANY "FIRST". I AM REALLY EXCITED ABOUT 2007!!!
