WELCOME TO MY JOURNEY TO BRING MY DAUGHTER, MAYA GRACE HOME FROM GUATEMALA. DURING THIS JOURNEY I HAVE STUMBLED OVER MANY MOUNTAINS ONLY TO BUILD MY FAITH. THIS HAS BEEN ONE OF THE HARDEST JOURNEY'S OF MY LIFE AND IT HAS THE GREATEST PRIZE AT THE END. I CAN'T WAIT FOR THEM TO PLACE MY DAUGHTER IN MY ARMS FOREVER. MY DREAMS WILL THEN BE REALITY!!!
MAYA IS DOING MUCH BETTER. ONLY 4 MAJOR BLOWOUTS TODAY. MUCH BETTER THAN 12 YESTERDAY. WE HAD A GOOD DAY TODAY. JUST HUNG OUT HERE AT THE HOTEL. WE ARE MEETING WITH THE LAWYER IN THE MORNING FOR SOME BUSINESS. ENJOY THE PHOTOS!!!
GORGEOUS! Girl, how many outfits does Maya have?! I really do think you could open a shop! Cracks me up!
Re: Maya being sick... might want to mix the Guat formula w/ the American kind. Has a tendency to upset their tummys.
Also, if you start hearing her chest rattle don't hesitate to take her to the MD. Seriously. Sass was very sick and I know of two other babies that got really sick and had to be hospitalized. The good thing is you're a nurse and probably know these things. Dingleberry here, only thought I was prepared...
Oh, and if she still has the runs, make sure you bring many outfits (I know you have them) for her on the plane ride home. The poor passengers around me had to smell, well, you know, all the way home! Lovely, huh?
I am a single mother with a daughter from Guatemala. I brought her home on August 21st, 2007. I am loving every second of motherhood. Maya is the love of my life. I can't imagine life without her. I thank God everyday that she is home in my arms.
