MAYA'S ADOPTION JOURNEY

WELCOME TO MY JOURNEY TO BRING MY DAUGHTER, MAYA GRACE HOME FROM GUATEMALA. DURING THIS JOURNEY I HAVE STUMBLED OVER MANY MOUNTAINS ONLY TO BUILD MY FAITH. THIS HAS BEEN ONE OF THE HARDEST JOURNEY'S OF MY LIFE AND IT HAS THE GREATEST PRIZE AT THE END. I CAN'T WAIT FOR THEM TO PLACE MY DAUGHTER IN MY ARMS FOREVER. MY DREAMS WILL THEN BE REALITY!!!

THINGS ARE BETTER!!!

YESTERDAY WAS A HORRIBLE DAY. I FELT THAT THERE WAS NO ANSWERS AND THAT MAYA WOULD NEVER COME HOME. I WAS EVEN THINKING "MAYBE THERE IS A FAMILY OUT THERE SOMEWHERE". MY DEAR FRIEND ELLIE WANTED TO SMACK ME. THANK GOD SHE WASN'T HERE. WELL, MAYBE THAT IS WHAT I NEEDED. THAT WAS A CRAZY THOUGHT. MAYA IS MY DAUGHTER AND SHE WILL COME HOME. I DON'T KNOW WHEN, BUT IT WILL HAPPEN. I DID HEAR FROM THE EMBASSY. MY PINK SLIP IS READY TO BE ISSUED BUT THEY ARE REQUESTING A NEW SET OF FINGERPRINTS. EVEN THOUGH THEY ARE UP TO DATE. IF THIS IS WHAT THEY WANT THEN THAT IS WHAT I WILL GIVE THEM. SO, AS SOON AS THEY GET MY FINGERPRINTS (I HOPE IS BY MONDAY) THEY CAN ISSUE MY PINK SLIP. I HOPE THAT I AM NOT DREAMING. I AM JUST TRYING TO BE POSITIVE. I DON'T KNOW WHY THIS IS HAPPENING AND I WILL PROBABLY NEVER KNOW. I JUST HAVE TO ACCEPT IT AND MOVE ON. THANKS FOR ALL OF THE ENCOURAGING COMMENTS ON MY PREVIOUS POST. PLEASE CONTINUE TO PRAY.

Take it a day at a time. Stay positive. The Embassy is not scamming you, your lawyer was.
Believe in your heart Maya is coming home. All signs from here totally support her coming home.
LETS GO FINGERPRINTS!!!!! Ginger needs her baby girl home, and Maya needs her mommy.
I totally agreed with your friends on your last post.
My belief is God gives man free will to choose between good and evil. You have run into people who chose evil. God can't change what their decisions were, but he is with you all the time, and carries you through the rough times. He loves you Ginger. He loves Maya. You will be a family.
    I continue with prayers everyday.

    Oh Ginger,
I'm praying for you! There is a reason for the hardship. Believe in the Lord and truly open your heart to him. At the end of my last miscarriage, I felt exactly the same way you do but the Lord was preparing my heart for the adoption I have now realized and therefore for Gabriella, who I cannot for a second imagine not having in our lives. There may come a time when Maya needs your strength later and this process has made you such an extremely strong person, a fighter! And I agree with Kerry that Maya will see what you've done one day and be so PROUD of her mama.

I KNOW your daughter will be home soon. KEEP BELIEVING!!! We are ALL praying for you!!!!I'm sending lots of positive prayers your way right now!!!! Gabby is too :)
