SORRY FOR NOT POSTING SOONER.

MY SLEEPING BEAUTY!!!
THE LOOK SAYS IT ALL!!! SHE WAS SO UP TO NO GOOD!!
GETTING READY FOR THE POOL. SHE STILL LOVES THE WATER. SHE HATES TO HAVE HER HAIR WASHED BUT DOESN'T MIND BEING DUNKED IN THE POOL.

HER FIRST BIRTHDAY CAKE. IT CAME FROM SAN MARTINS. IT THINK IS IS SUPPOSE TO BE STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE. LOOKS SORT OF MEAN. WE WALKED MILES TO GET THIS AND ENDED MADE IT BACK TO THE MARRIOTT IN ONE PIECE.

YES, I AM CUTE AND I KNOW IT!!
WELL, NO PINK TODAY. I HAVE BEEN UP SINCE 3 AM RESEARCHING PEOPLE TO CALL. SO, I MADE ABOUT 7 CALLS TODAY. I DID GET A POSITIVE RESPONSE FOR ALL BUT 2 AND THEY ARE OUT OF TOWN. MY CONGRESSMAN CALLED THE EMBASSY HERE IN GUATEMALA TODAY. NOT SURE WHAT HE TOLD THEM BUT....... I GOT AN E-MAIL SAYING THAT MY PINK SLIP WOULD BE ISSUED ON MONDAY. WHY NOT TODAY???? I AM NOT SURE THAT I TRUST WHAT THEY ARE TELLING ME BUT I JUST HAVE TO STAY POSITIVE AND BELEIVE THAT IT WILL BE ISSUED ON MONDAY. I AM SOOOOO READY TO BRING MAYA HOME. THIS NIGHTMARE HAS TO COME TO AN END. I HAVE MET SOME GREAT PEOPLE HERE THIS TIME. THERE IS ONE FAMILY THAT IS IN THE SAME SITUATION AS ME. WAITING ON PINK FOR 8 WEEKS. I HATE FOR THIS TO HAPPEN TO ANYONE ELSE BUT IT MAKES ME FEEL BETTER THAT I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE WITH THIS PROBLEM. PLEASE CONTINUE TO PRAY. MAYA TURNS ONE TOMORROW. I AM HAVING HER A LITTLE PARTY BY THE POOL. I WILL POST PICTURES OF THAT TOMORROW NIGHT.

    Ginger I don't know if this is true but I have always heard that they don't issue PINK slips on Fridays...That is what my agency always told me and I have seen that several times..So maybe this is true.

    Why in the H*** do they keep saying your pink slip is ready... it will be issued tomorrow... BLAH!! BLAH!!
    They've been saying that forever!!!
    Guatadopt is saying a second DNA test is now required starting 8/6, but you've already submitted for pink so I think your grandfathered.
    Don't they tell you anything about what the H***
    is taking so long???

    Our PINK took 2 weeks for no other reason than the USE was backed up (and I think they lost our file). I hope Monday brings you good news and a fast appointment so you can go HOME!!
