MAYA'S ADOPTION JOURNEY

WELCOME TO MY JOURNEY TO BRING MY DAUGHTER, MAYA GRACE HOME FROM GUATEMALA. DURING THIS JOURNEY I HAVE STUMBLED OVER MANY MOUNTAINS ONLY TO BUILD MY FAITH. THIS HAS BEEN ONE OF THE HARDEST JOURNEY'S OF MY LIFE AND IT HAS THE GREATEST PRIZE AT THE END. I CAN'T WAIT FOR THEM TO PLACE MY DAUGHTER IN MY ARMS FOREVER. MY DREAMS WILL THEN BE REALITY!!!

WAITING IN ALABAMA!!!

OKAY, IT HAS BEEN 48 HOURS SINCE I GOT THE E-MAIL FROM THE EMBASSY. SO, I AM STILL JUST WAITING AND WAITING AND WAITING. NO, I DON'T LIKE TO WAIT BUT WHAT ELSE CAN I DO. WELL, I AM GOING TO START PACKING THIS AFTERNOON. AT LEAST MAYA'S SUITCASE. IT IS ALWAYS FUN TO GO THROUGH HER CLOTHES. I HAVE TO DECIDE WHAT SHE WILL WEAR TO HER EMBASSY APPOINTMENT. I HAS A VERY CUTE BLUE DRESS BUT SHE IS WAY TOO SMALL FOR IT. MAYBE NEXT SUMMER.
PLEASE SAY A PRAYER FOR KAREN AND ABBIE. THEY WERE ISSUED A I-72 YESTERDAY FOR THE US EMBASSY.
MAYBE GOOD NEWS TOMORROW. I AM NOT GETTING EXCITED YET. I THINK I WILL WAIT UNTIL AFTER THE EMBASSY APPT. AND I HAVE THE VISA IN MY HANDS AND WE ARE ON THE PLANE COMING HOME. I THINK IT WILL BE SAFE FOR ME TO GET EXCITED THEN.

Ok... I am still holding my breath....

But, I would send an email to the embassy for a status, cause they say it takes 24 hours to get back to you... SO that 72 hours would be up, and they may tell you when your appointment is... HAHAHAHA

Ok.. So look who is working the system now!!! ME!!!!!!!!!!!

    HUGS
