WELCOME TO MY JOURNEY TO BRING MY DAUGHTER, MAYA GRACE HOME FROM GUATEMALA. DURING THIS JOURNEY I HAVE STUMBLED OVER MANY MOUNTAINS ONLY TO BUILD MY FAITH. THIS HAS BEEN ONE OF THE HARDEST JOURNEY'S OF MY LIFE AND IT HAS THE GREATEST PRIZE AT THE END. I CAN'T WAIT FOR THEM TO PLACE MY DAUGHTER IN MY ARMS FOREVER. MY DREAMS WILL THEN BE REALITY!!!

WASH THAT GRAY RIGHT IN MY HAIR...

JUST A PICTURE FROM THE HOTEL WINDOW IN GUATMALA!!
I HAVE TOTALLY LOST IT!!! I HAVE BEEN BLONDE SINCE BIRTH AND THOUGHT THAT I WOULD GO TO MY GRAVE AS A BLONDE. HOWEVER, I HAVE BEEN SOOOOOO STRESSED THE PAST FEW WEEKS, I THOUGHT A CHANGE WOULD BE NICE. SO, I DYED MY HAIR. I PUT MEDIUM ASH BLONDE. IT WAS SUPPOSE TO BE LIGHT BROWN. NOT!!!! IT IS REALLY GRAY WITH SOME GREEN STREAKS. WELL, I GOT MY CHANGE!!!

A FAR AS THE ADOPTION WORLD, NOTHING!!! I HAVE GOTTEN SOME GREAT ADVICE FOR A LOT OF GREAT PEOPLE. I AM GOING TO GIVE MY AGENCY AND LAWYER UNTIL FRIDAY TO GIVE ME SOME ANSWERS. THEN IT IS OFF TO OTHER RESOURCES. I AM PAST THE DEPRESSION AND PITY PARTY. I AM READY TO FIGHT, FIGHT, FIGHT. MAYA NEEDS TO BE HOME WITH HER MOMMY!!!

ruh roh..... That's why I fear dying my hair. My luck it would end up purple!

I hope you hear something soon. I really do. Otherwise, you might have gray hairs naturally.

I'm so sorry Ginger. I hope people aren't doing this on purpose to hurt you because they are really hurting Maya the most.

Yes, you must show a picture. I showed a picture of my horrid roots once! Oh, and I confess. I died my hair red once by accident. No, not hair red, CRAYON RED. I've not done it myself since....and I don't think I've fully recovered either. It was very traumatic.

This process is stressful isn't it? I've found more gray hairs on my head lately. It's getting to the point now that if I tried plucking all of them, I'd have bald spots! (I'm due for a hair cut/color). After watching my mom...using the same color as you mentioned, dye her hair macaroni and cheese orange, I've decided not to do it myself anymore.

I wish you much luck in your fight to bring Maya home. Hope you hear good news soon!

Don't worry about the hair... I change mine all the time! The good thing about it, is if you mess it up, you can always get it fixed!

Um.... where's the pic of you and the new hair color? LOL

I had no idea there could be a problem w/ your case. I'm glad you've got the "fighting spirit". Sometime you really have to "yell" to be heard.
