WELCOME TO MY JOURNEY TO BRING MY DAUGHTER, MAYA GRACE HOME FROM GUATEMALA. DURING THIS JOURNEY I HAVE STUMBLED OVER MANY MOUNTAINS ONLY TO BUILD MY FAITH. THIS HAS BEEN ONE OF THE HARDEST JOURNEY'S OF MY LIFE AND IT HAS THE GREATEST PRIZE AT THE END. I CAN'T WAIT FOR THEM TO PLACE MY DAUGHTER IN MY ARMS FOREVER. MY DREAMS WILL THEN BE REALITY!!!

THAT'S WHAT FRIENDS ARE FOR!!!
DARK CHOCOLATE ALWAYS MAKES A GIRL SMILE!! MY FAVORITE, PURPLE TULIPS!!!
I HAVE THE MOST WONDERFUL BESTFRIEND IN THE WHOLE WORLD. LAST NIGHT DEBORAH WENT OUT AND CAME BACK WITH THESE GIFTS FOR ME. SHE KNOWS MY FAVORITES. WE WERE BOTH SO UPSET ABOUT THE NEWS THAT I GOT YESTERDAY. I DO FEEL SOME BETTER TODAY. I AM TRYING TO JUST FOCUS ON MY VISIT TRIP IN 25 DAYS. I WILL PROBABLY DO A LITTLE RETAIL THERAY TODAY AND START PACKING MAYA'S SUITCASE. THANKS TO ALL OF MY BLOGGER PALS FOR THE SWEET COMMENTS AND E-MAILS. COURTY-SHORTY, THANKS FOR THE E-CARD. IT WAS SO CUTE. I WILL KEEP YOU POSTED ON WHAT HAPPENS ON MONDAY.
I'm sorry Ginger that people are so cruel...I know the feeling with my case. But mine is over know as I have PINK on the 9th, Here's to a speedy stay in PGN for you.
I am so sorry about this! Unbelievable!! I'm mad too - we could have been traveling together and meeting each other!! Grrrrr That's not fair!!! I can't believe it!!! I certainly hope that MOnday is grand news!! I'll pray that your approval happens in record time!! (don't forget we've seen a couple get through in just two weeks!)
Wow... I am so shocked by the way things can be so out of control with this process. I don't have a good understanding of how the Guatemala process works, but it seems so unreasonable at times. I'm so sorry that you have to go through this and deal with these mean-spirited people. I hope things make a fast turn-around for you & Maya!!
I am a single mother with a daughter from Guatemala. I brought her home on August 21st, 2007. I am loving every second of motherhood. Maya is the love of my life. I can't imagine life without her. I thank God everyday that she is home in my arms.
