WELCOME TO MY JOURNEY TO BRING MY DAUGHTER, MAYA GRACE HOME FROM GUATEMALA. DURING THIS JOURNEY I HAVE STUMBLED OVER MANY MOUNTAINS ONLY TO BUILD MY FAITH. THIS HAS BEEN ONE OF THE HARDEST JOURNEY'S OF MY LIFE AND IT HAS THE GREATEST PRIZE AT THE END. I CAN'T WAIT FOR THEM TO PLACE MY DAUGHTER IN MY ARMS FOREVER. MY DREAMS WILL THEN BE REALITY!!!

NOTHING HAPPENED TODAY!!
NO GO ON THE FINGERPRINTS TODAY. I DIDN'T HAVE AN APPT. SO I JUST WALKED IN AND SAT THERE FOR HOURS. THEY WOULD NOT DO ANYTHING FOR ME. SO, I NOW HAVE AN APPT. IT IS FOR JULY 23RD AT 9 AM. I AM OKAY WITH THIS. HOWEVER, I AM CONTACTING MY CONGRESSMAN TO SEE IF HE CAN HELP. SO, WE ARE LOOKING AT MY PINK SLIP BEING ISSUED ON JULY 26TH. I AM UPSET ABOUT THIS. I AM TOO TIRED TO BE ANGRY. MY MAJOR MELTDOWN THE OTHER DAY WORE ME OUT.
Ginger, Hopefully your congressman can help. Don't loose faith, God will bring Maya home. Wish I had some better words of encouragment. Just know that we are all praying!!
Ginger, I hope the Congressman can get you in quicker! If one doesn't help move to the next and the next. Try a Senator it seems they have a little more "pull."
You'll be with Maya soon, I just know it. You're at the end of the race and the last few laps are the hardest - you're almost there! We're cheering you on to the finish line!
This makes me want to cuss!!!!! Ginger, I know it seems like they are throwing every POSSIBLE roadblock in front of you, BUT you are going to keep going until Maya is home. God picked you for her, because He knew YOU were strong enough to do WHATEVER you have to for Maya. You are a wonderful mother, and I am sending you so much love and many hugs!
Ginger, I just wanted to let you know how much I am thinking of you and praying for you. That girl of YOURS is absolutely wonderful and none of us will stop until you bring her home. Love you.
Ginger, sending you prayers. I can't even begin to imagine. Just imagine the party you will have that day you get off that plane in the US with Maya in your arms.
This too will pass, who knows why this is so stressful for you while others have smooth processes and why it's taking so long. I pray you have Maya home asap and that this ordeal will become simply a memory, a part of Maya's adoption story that one day will seem a thing of the past.
I am a single mother with a daughter from Guatemala. I brought her home on August 21st, 2007. I am loving every second of motherhood. Maya is the love of my life. I can't imagine life without her. I thank God everyday that she is home in my arms.

I hope it will all be over soon and you get Maya while you are at home where we all can see her.

I have a stupid question, why in the world does it take so long to get in for fingerprints? Do they have to be done a certain way?
