WELCOME TO MY JOURNEY TO BRING MY DAUGHTER, MAYA GRACE HOME FROM GUATEMALA. DURING THIS JOURNEY I HAVE STUMBLED OVER MANY MOUNTAINS ONLY TO BUILD MY FAITH. THIS HAS BEEN ONE OF THE HARDEST JOURNEY'S OF MY LIFE AND IT HAS THE GREATEST PRIZE AT THE END. I CAN'T WAIT FOR THEM TO PLACE MY DAUGHTER IN MY ARMS FOREVER. MY DREAMS WILL THEN BE REALITY!!!

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!!
I HAVE HAD ENOUGH OF THIS CRAP!!! TODAY MY "LAW STUDENTS" ASSISTANT E-MAILED AND SAID THAT THE FOSTER FAMILY WAS LYING ABOUT NEEDING FOOD/MONEY FOR MAYA. HE SAID THAT HE WAS SO MAD WITH THEM. HE ALSO SAID THAT HE HAD BEEN TRYING TO CALL THEM AND THEY WOULDN'T RESPOND. WHATEVER??? HE IS THE ONE THAT WON'T RESPOND. MAYA HAS A GREAT FOSTER FAMILY AND I REALLY DON'T THINK THEY WOULD SCAM ME. I MIGHT BE WRONG BUT I HOPE NOT. ANYWAY, I FINALLY TALKED TO MY AGENCY DIRECTOR AND SHE JUST SAID "WELL, I SURE HOPE EVERYTHING WORKS OUT". SHE HAD NO ANSWERS FOR ANYTHING. SHE JUST KEPT TELLING ME THAT SHE REALLY DIDN'T KNOW WHAT TO DO. I WENT OFF ON HER. I TOLD HER EXACTLY WHAT I THOUGHT ABOUT HER. IT MAY NOT HAVE HELPED ANYTHING BUT IT MADE ME FEEL BETTER.
I'm amazed that your agency isn't being more proactive on your behalf. It doesn't make sense! I don't think that Maya's foster family would scam you, either. I do know from our experience that the doctor provided the formula, but when it came to "real" food, our foster family was on their own. I pray this gets sorted out - and fast!!!
Seriously, I agree...your agency needs to fight for you and find out what in the heck is going on. 'I hope everything works out' is NOT acceptable. Praying Ginger. I can't imagine the pain, fear, confusion, bitterness, frustration, etc. that you must be dealing with.
Excuse me-- the law student who has been scamming all along has the nerve to accuse the foster family oh I just don't think so.... and the agency director-- do not even get me started. I am fired up right now anyway maybe I should call her!!! Glad you got to tell her how you felt!! You go girl..
Doesn't your agency recognize the fact that THEY have some responsibility for this?? They WORK FOR YOU! They are your advocates......What did you pay them for????
I'm betting the foster family is telling the truth. They weren't expecting to have Maya after your last visit, so they probably didn't buy anymore stuff or ask you while you were there to get it.
Why isn't your agency doing there job to get you and your daughter together forever!!
I am a single mother with a daughter from Guatemala. I brought her home on August 21st, 2007. I am loving every second of motherhood. Maya is the love of my life. I can't imagine life without her. I thank God everyday that she is home in my arms.

Oh. Good. Grief.
When will ANYONE in authority on this case ever step up to the plate and show some character?!?!?!?!?!?
Disgusting. And so glad you finally blew. I'm impressed you made it this far.
