WELCOME TO MY JOURNEY TO BRING MY DAUGHTER, MAYA GRACE HOME FROM GUATEMALA. DURING THIS JOURNEY I HAVE STUMBLED OVER MANY MOUNTAINS ONLY TO BUILD MY FAITH. THIS HAS BEEN ONE OF THE HARDEST JOURNEY'S OF MY LIFE AND IT HAS THE GREATEST PRIZE AT THE END. I CAN'T WAIT FOR THEM TO PLACE MY DAUGHTER IN MY ARMS FOREVER. MY DREAMS WILL THEN BE REALITY!!!

VERY BUSY DAY IN GUATEMALA!!!

THIS PICTURE WAS TAKEN AT THE BABY EXPO. I THINK IT IS SOOOO CUTE.
WE HAD A VERY BUSY DAY TODAY. MAYA HAD TO GO TO HER DOCTOR FOR HER 1 YEAR OLD SHOTS THIS MORNING. SHE WEIGHED 18 POUNDS AND 3 OZS. WE HAD AN APPT. AT 10 AM BUT THE DOCTOR DIDN'T GET THERE UNTIL 10:45. SO, WE JUST SAT THERE AND WAITED. THEN WE HAD TO GO TO THE MALL FOR PASSPORT PICTURES. WHAT THE HECK DO WE HAVE LAWYERS AND AGENCY'S FOR. I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW THAT I NEEDED A PASSPORT PICTURE FOR THE EMBASSY DOCTOR. THEN WE HAD OUR EMBASSY DOCTORS APPT. THIS AFTERNOON. IT WENT OKAY. MAYA IS MY REALLY MY DAUGHTER, SHE HATES DOCTORS AS MUCH AS I DO. SHE DID CRY BUT THEN I GOT TO CUDDLE AND COMFORT HER. SO, WE ARE ALL SO TIRED AND GOING TO BED. I AM SO THANKFUL THAT DEBORAH IS HERE TO HELP ME WITH MAYA DURING ALL OF THIS RUNNING AROUND. OH, THEY ARE GOING TO CHANGE MY EMBASSY APPT. I HAVE TO GO BACK TO THE EMBASSY TOMORROW AFTERNOON TO GET IT CHANGED. I AM PRAYING FOR MONDAY!!! THEN WE WILL BE HOME ON WEDNESDAY. THAT IS IF WE CAN GET A FLIGHT OUT OF HERE. AS OF RIGHT NOW THERE ARE NO FLIGHTS AVAILABLE. SORRY NO PICTURES TONIGHT. BLOGGER IS BEING BAD!!! SO THERE WILL BE TONS OF PICS TOMORROW.

    I'm so happy you're going to get an earlier appointment. At last things are coming together.

    Yes, your "law student" and agency should be doing these things, but at this point, to $#&! with them. Just get it all done and get that baby home. and when you do, I hope you contact everyone you can to let them know how you were treated.
