WELCOME TO MY JOURNEY TO BRING MY DAUGHTER, MAYA GRACE HOME FROM GUATEMALA. DURING THIS JOURNEY I HAVE STUMBLED OVER MANY MOUNTAINS ONLY TO BUILD MY FAITH. THIS HAS BEEN ONE OF THE HARDEST JOURNEY'S OF MY LIFE AND IT HAS THE GREATEST PRIZE AT THE END. I CAN'T WAIT FOR THEM TO PLACE MY DAUGHTER IN MY ARMS FOREVER. MY DREAMS WILL THEN BE REALITY!!!

MY NAKED GIRL!!!
I KNOW, SHE IS GOING TO KILL ME ONEDAY. IT WAS JUST AMAZING HOW GOOD SHE PLAYED WITH NO CLOTHES. I DIDN'T LET HER RUN AROUND THE MARRIOTT NAKED. ONLY FOR 15 MINUTES IN THE ROOM. THEN SHE PEED EVERYWHERE AND LAUGHED ABOUT IT. THIS IS FOR YOU BURP-ITTY-BURP. YES, SHE IS NAKED UNDER THE APRON. CHILLIN BY THE POOL!!! HIGH ON LIFE. NOT REALLY, SHE WAS SO SLEEPY BUT TOO LATE FOR A NAP. LET ME GO SO THAT I CAN GET IN THE POOL!!
NOT MUCH GOING ON HERE TODAY. WE WENT TO THE MARKET BY THE ZOO FOR A COUPLE OF HOURS THEN SPENT THE REST OF THE AFTERNOON IN THE POOL AND BABY LOUNGE. MAYA ONLY GOT ONE NAP TODAY SO SHE CRASHED AT 7:15. I AM A LITTLE CONCERNED ABOUT THE STORM COMING THIS WAY. I HOPE AND PRAY THAT WE CAN FLY OUT ON TUESDAY MORNING. IF WE CAN'T COME HOME IN A PLANE MAYBE THE WIND WILL JUST BLOW US TO ALABAMA.
Ginger I was thinking about the storm today and I sure hope it doesn't cause any delays but just remember even if it does it does not change the fact the Maya is still coming home with you when you come.
I know you'll make it home. Heck, after the storm that your process has been, what's a little Category 5 hurricane? :)
My cousin's little boy LOVES to run around nekkid. He hates it when we have to put his diaper back on. If we let him, he'd run all day long with nothing but his b-day suit :)
I am a single mother with a daughter from Guatemala. I brought her home on August 21st, 2007. I am loving every second of motherhood. Maya is the love of my life. I can't imagine life without her. I thank God everyday that she is home in my arms.
